As the Tokyo Game Show approaches, chatter involving a 250GB PS3 has begun to surface. Talk about future proof. Sources indicate that this ‘beefcake’ version of that PS3 could be part of a new movie bundle that would include the Sony Blu-Ray remote, a Blu-Ray movie, and Sony’s new PlayTV attachment, which turns a PS3 into fully functional freeview TV recorder.
The Tokyo Game Show starts on September 24th so we’ll hopefully get some solid answers then.

I was at the good guys in kawana where i live in australia, and i totally saw like 4 boxes of these, 250GB clearly labelled in the corner of the box in red, they weren’t hidden or anything, i could tell they were moving some stuff around in the shop, and they had them on the shelf next to me. i can 100% confirm there will be a 250GB ps3 soon.
I also can confirm this. I work for Sony and we have the sku’s in the system. The memo down from upper management says it will be on said for Black Friday.
