The August 11th Xbox Live update will be the first time we see Microsoft’s “Games on Demand” service. Even though the download only store won’t feature any brand new games, you will be able to buy some classic titles. To start, the service will offer such quality titles as: Mass Effect, Assassin’s Creed, Oblivion, BioShock, Need for Speed Carbon. Each game will effectively suck up between 4-6Gb’s each and will cost 1600-2400 Microsoft Points. Will this fly with the millions of users on Xbox Live? Will this also mean that Microsoft will start issuing larger and more expensive hard drives?
