Xbox 360 Arcade System To Receive Price Increase In The UK

Last week we got further confirmation that the Xbox 360 Pro system will be phased out and the Elite system will receive a price cut.  Microsoft is mum on the verification, but today a report issued by MCV says that the Xbox 360 Arcade will receive a price bump of £30 in the UK.  The report also goes on to say that many of the accessories will also receive a slight price increase.

Currently there are no indications of a price increase here in the US and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen an price increase on a video game system isolated to outside the US.  But still, if true this seems to be contrary to Microsoft’s strategy to try and take back a piece of the throne from Nintendo.

I think it’s a crazy idea for Xbox 360 games to demand prices. This is a ripp off! I was expecting Microsoft to have issued a ‘correction’ to this by now.
