The Samsung Reclaim Maybe Sprint’s Flagship Eco Phone, But Why The Mail-In-Rebate

It might bear a similar resemblance to the Propel, but Samsung’s Reclaim is all about Eco-friendly. So much so in fact that its box is crafted from 70 percent recycled materials and printed using a Soy based ink. Also adding to the ‘green’ factor is the phone’s outer casing, which is comprised of 40% bio-plastic material, made from corn. And those thick paper manuals are replaced with virtual ones, something most companies have been doing for a while now to cut their costs.
Feature wise were looking at a slideout QWERTY keyboard, 2 megapixel camera, Sprint Navigation, Bluetooth with A2DP, memory slot expandable to 32GB, web browser and two eco stating colors to choose from: Blue and Green.
The Samsung Reclaim will hit Sprint stores and website on August 16th and cost $50 after a 2-year contract signing and $50 mail-in-rebate. Interesting. I wonder if the mail-in-rebate can be entered online, otherwise they might be negating their green statement.
