Madden 2010 Online Franchise Companion iPhone App (update)

To help everybody get excited for the August 14th release of Madden 2010, a quick news bit about a companion iPhone app should do the trick. I just watched the IGN review of Madden 2010 and was tickled to learn that EA will be releasing an iPhone app that will let you manage your online franchise mode on the go. As with fantasy football, Madden can be an all consuming hobby so I’m thinking this should be a pretty big deal. Details are scarce at the moment with no price (fingers crossed for free), or release date confirmed. Let’s hope it releases by the 14th so we can get using it.

The Madden 2010 Online Franchise Companion App will be available in the App Store on Tuesday August 18th for FREE!

This is ridiculous! Have they scrapped the project all together?
I read that a couple weeks ago it was submitted to apple for approval. I think they are spending there time on the AFL downloadable content that u have to pay for. I agree this is getting ridiculous. They should at least give us a release date.
I know i check the web every day for an update as to when i can get this i would like a date too.
On The Message of the day on Xbox live for madden it says Access your franchise from the web or your Iphone!! YET I STILL SEE NO APP!!!!
It will be no surprise to me if when it does finally come out that they will charge for it. At this point it is over a month overdue. Come on EA!!!
