I don’t understand why they changed the top row of the keyboard.

Now I guess it’s either sprint or verizon, as I’m not really digging t-mo’s color scheme & lack of audio jack.

They changed the keyboard because every ATT customer who has used their past HTC devices (Tilt, Fuze) would be PISSED if they didn’t. Haven’t you noticed almost every PC keyboard on the face of the earth has a 9key number pad? That’s because its FASTER…

Coming directly from the owner of a Tilt, I’m sure everyone can recall at least one time when they were trying to press either the [R] or [T] keys and accidentally pressed send. Great fix HTC!

Does anyone have a real release date yet? I am running a T-Mo version of the phone and love it!! It just doesn’t have all the features working right because of the unlocked status. I can’t get 3G service all the time. Picture msgs have to be sent through email to cell phones (not that big of a deal). I just want the AT&T version already.

They say the ATT version is suppose to be coming out on October 17th but who knows the date keeps changing

@changes in technology… The IPhone may be king in terms of sales but, I’ve been enjoying sending MMS for YEARS now with my ATT/HTC devices, same thing with copy/paste, and most of the recent updates. I can appreciate the IPhone’s ease of use for apps and it’s “prettyness” and wow factor, though! I know some people will never get one due to the lack of a dedicated keyboard.

That’s the beauty of the HTC/WinMo devices, there is so many apps out there to try. Check out xda, they have 1 cubic ton of custom apps. I’ll be getting this SOB when it lands for sure.

I keep trying the newer WinMo devices because they were a passion for me for some time. But now they all feel clunky and non-intuitive since I have an iPhone….I would love to come back to WinMo if they ever get passed that clunkiness and non-responsive touch control technology.

Sprint is the first to release the Touch Pro 2 and I love it. it is very versatile and it works great with my training software

I am on the now network with sprint, I love my simply everything plan cuz it gives u unlimited data, unlimited messaging and the best part unlimited anytime minutes all for 99 bucks…that’s cheaper than any carrier to have everything unlimited. I’ve been waiting for almost a year now for the touch pro 2 to be release but when it came out for sprint they F’d up the back panel design. So just for that I’m going to switch to AT&T because their tilt 2 design is nicer. I know their service cost more to unlimit everything but hey I don’t want to pay so much money for a phone by sprint only for it to look like a piece of sh*t. I’m picky with my phones as well as my women haha..that’s why I’m going to make the switch. Oh and I already thought about the unlocked european version and bringing it to sprint but I don’t want the hassle of functions that might not work.

this article is correct. att recently released the htc pure and htc has openly shown details of the tilt 2 on their website
