Flash Drives Storage — 13 August 2009

I’m all in favor of ultra fast read and write times, but do we really need another USB flash drive? Corsair thinks so, and today they rolled out their fastest yet, the 128GB Flash Voyager GT. Actually this is just another iteration of the preexisting Voyager GT, except this one claims read speeds of 32MB/s and write speeds of 25.6MB/s. It costs a whopping $399.99 so I hardly see the point in buying one at this stage, but if you’re into massive pocket sized storage with a penchant for pissing contests then have at it.
