Starting with the release of The Fast & And The Furious Blu-Ray disc on July 28th, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will have companion apps that allow you to do a bunch of stuff relating to the associated movie.  For example, in F&F you can rotate cars on your iPhone or iPod touch in the “virtual garage” feature and view specs on cars.  Sounds thrilling!  Future features on other movies will include the ability to download bonus content for on the go viewing, remote control style functionality, and access to additional film detail while watching the movie.  The free companion app for “The Fast & The Furious” will be free and should appear sometime early next week.
