iPod — 06 July 2009

While I’m not going to go as far as calling Radiopaq’s Sound Jacket snake oil, my skepticism is most certainly abound. Built specifically for the 4th gen iPod Nano the device is said to increase not only the amplitude of the portable MP3 player but enhance your MP3 tracks, that is assuming they’re in MP3. The maker claims at most a 60% audible performance of any song – something akin to having an EQ setting for each song that adjusts levels at any given moment. Looks like it isn’t on sale just yet, but apparently it will sell for about $114.
