Is it me or is Panasonic trickling out different versions of their latest HD camcorder in hopes maximizing their press?  In any case it seems to be working.  Announced today is the HDC-HS350.  Like models announced earlier this year it capture full 1920×1080 HD video in the world’s most taxing codec, AVCHD.  What sets this iteration apart from the pact is an on board 240GB hard drive, which is enough space to record 30 hours of complete HD content.    Other features include a 10.6 megapixel 3MOS sensor, a 3 second pre-record, facial recognition, 2.7-inch LCD, 12x optical zoom, image stabilization and follow focus to keep moving objects in clear view.  If you don’t trust the moving parts of the 240GB HDD you can always opt for SD card slot which is good for up to 32GB of storage.  No word on a street date or a price.
