A 49 Port USB Hub And It’s Not April

Seriously?  Really?  Who the ‘F’ needs a 49 port USB hub?  In any event, Cambrionix, its maker thinks someone does.  Perhaps a family of 7 who each have 7 USB devices, such as an MP3 player, cell phone – you get the point.  At least they’ve tossed in an external power supply.  I can’t even begin to imagine the whine your computer would make if you plugged this thing in.  You can grab one for £399 ($655 US).

    Ummm…

This is designed for PROFESSIONAL test and development applications – not for the average home user’s humping dogs or missile launchers.

A mere glance at the manufacturers front page of their website (www.cambrionix.com) should give a weeny clue, and here’s another website I came across where a buyer appeared rather delighted with it ;o)
