Cant go wrong with Onkyo! I’ve done a lot of installations and a few models (not all) have what is called HDMI pass-through. This is cool because you can plug all your HDMI cables into the receiver and then connect to your TV with just the one cable. Makes installation a snap! However it’s just Pass-through meaning that the receiver doesn’t get any audio information from the HDMI, so you still need to run digital optical or digital coax from your component to the receiver. It’s mind boggling I know. IF you have a new LCD or Plasma most of them have a Digital Optical out so you would be good to go there.
