iPhone 3GS Processor Speed and RAM Published By T-Mobile Netherlands

Despite the fact that Apple pretty much refused to publish the processor speed and RAM of the iPhone 3Gs, their partner in crime in the Netherlands, T-Mobile hasn’t been so coveted with the info.  On their actual product page for the handset they list the iPhone’s processor at 600mhz and 256MB of RAM.  That’s twice the RAM of the iPhone 3G and about 200mhz more speed, which makes me question the ‘double the speed’ statement.

Yea. I thought the same thing. When did 2×400 become 600. Lol. Im asuming by the way wwdc went, they were saying it launches apps twice as fast most of the time. They are just playing with words at this point.

well speed doesnt just mean processor. theres more memory and power, which makes it go faster. just try running a computer with 256 MB of RAM and 2.0 Ghz of power, and you can respond that it is definitely at least 2x slower than 512 MB of RAM with 3.0 Ghz of power
