i have one of these and would never recommend it. gps is very slow to lock in the satelites, battery life is pathetic and xp is slow (due to only 256mb memory) – cheers, anand
While it could use more RAM (it may be upgradable). It is a full-functioning PC and GPS unit. On both counts it works very well! I’m very satisfied with my purchase, especially at $269 on buy.com
Anyone know if there is a trick to getting the GPS to work? Won’t connect to satellite and can’t find any way to even tell if it is connected, except that it doesn’t work. I can program in destinations and a map comes up but it just stays on the start position, never moves, obviously never connecting to satellite. Any suggestions?
can someone no how this bluetooth work for cellphone !
I also made the mistake of purchasing one of this through buy.com. It is a horrible product! Lowsy PC and even worse GPS. After only a few weeks of the unit no longer locks to any satellites rendering the GPS useless! The PC is so slow it can’t even play the lowest resolution video without skipping. And the touchscreen is very inaccurate! I, for one, am going to try to get my money back! This was a complete waste of my time!
ANY BODY KNOWS HOW TO GET DRIVERS FOR ADVENT ADV3500PC. THIS THING WORK ALL THE THE SUDDEN CRUSHED I NEED DRIVERS TO REINSTALL THE WINDOWS
