Slow Mo Hi Def Video Inside A 12 Foot Wave With Surfer Dylan Longbottom (video)

hd super slow mo 580x322 Slow Mo Hi Def Video Inside A 12 Foot Wave With Surfer Dylan Longbottom (video)

If you saw Discovery Channel’s Planet Earth, then you know what kind of image quality can be obtained from some of today’s most advanced HD cameras.  Using a specially modified TyphoonHD4, which is apparently more advanced than any HD camera used before and costs $100,00, the BBC Natural History Unit has ‘captured HD super slow motion (2ox normal HD) video of big wave surfer Dylan Longbottom in a 12 foot monster barrel’.  Hit the video, but if you have to change your pants don’t blame me – yeah, it’s that good.

Note: the embedded video below isn’t HD, so hit the ‘read’ link.

[Thanks, Adam]
