If you saw Discovery Channel’s Planet Earth, then you know what kind of image quality can be obtained from some of today’s most advanced HD cameras. Using a specially modified TyphoonHD4, which is apparently more advanced than any HD camera used before and costs $100,00, the BBC Natural History Unit has ‘captured HD super slow motion (2ox normal HD) video of big wave surfer Dylan Longbottom in a 12 foot monster barrel’. Hit the video, but if you have to change your pants don’t blame me – yeah, it’s that good.
