Fitness experts and doctors have long detested the true benefits of the Wii fit.  On the other hand, some people swear by it.  Today, EA Sport Active, the Fit’s closest competitor and $30 cheaper, launched today.  The package includes the game, resistance band, controller leg strap and compatibility with the Wii Balance board.  While I can’t help but think many people will purchase EA Sport Active and in less than 2 weeks relegate its existence to the closest, I do applaud the video game company for marketing the game via the ’20 minute’ workout once a day.  They’ve also included a coop mode that just might be the extra push an out of shape couple needs to get over the workout hurdle.  You can grab one now for $60 and check out the video below for a quick walk through.
