It’s like when two rival fanboys find out they both have the same secret handshake.  I really don’t see the practicality of this gadget, but if you really need to play Gears of War 2 with a PS3 controller just to say you did, it’ll cost you $85 to do so.  The XCM Crossfire Adapter will also connect the old wired original Xbox controllers.  Now if only this thing was more “universal” in nature so that you could use it with any console and any controller.  That would be much cooler to see a fanboy playing an Atari 7800 with a NES Advantage controller.  Check out the XCM site for other cool gaming mods including an Xbox 360 controller to PS3 adpater for $65  Any other cool combos you can think of?
