Last night Aliph unveiled their latest Jawbone Bluetooth headset, the Prime. Interesting, because Plantronics just officially launched ‘their most advanced headset’ to date. Is it me or do I sense a little competition going down? Anyway, we actually saw the Plantronics Voyager PRO a few days early due to a Best Buy mishap which enabled a few customers to buy the Bluetooth headset before its official launch date, today. At the time though, we didn’t have a set of fancy smancy videos to walk us through the Voyager Pro’s advanced features. So what makes the Voyager PRO so special?
Plantronics claims that the PRO can cancel as much as 80db of background noise using their proprietary AudioIQ2 dual mic technology while simultaneously balancing the audio levels with a 20-band equalizer. Lastly, the PRO boasts a 6 hour talk time, which should mean a pretty significant standby time. Hit the teaser site for all the videos.
Looks like they chose Best Buy as their exclusive retailer and you can buy it direct right now for $100.
