Either Lacie laid off all their product designers or they just wanna stick with a good thing, because their latest Rugged drive, the Rugged XL, looks exactly the same as previous versions.  This iteration, though, includes 1TB of storage and dual interfaces: eSATA and UBS 2.0.  Also included is Lacie’s backup software and a bright orange rubber casing that should add extra protection to the drive in the event of a drop or slip.

Expect it to hit ’shelves’ any day now for $159.99.
