Camcorders Videos — 27 April 2009

Contour’s claim of the ‘world’s first wearable HD camcorder’ might not be entirely true, but its definitely the first to feature lasers. The all-in-one, tough as nails helmet mountable camcorder can record up to 16 hours of 1280×720 video at 30 fps or SD video at 60 fps. Inside the unit is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, microSD card slot compatible with up to 16GB cards, a 135 degree wide angle lens and the aforementioned lasers for lining up your shot. At just 4oz, the ContourHD is crafted of an anodized aluminum and boasts a water resistant finish for all types of EXTREME recordings. Launches next month, but you can preorder it now for $299.
