The Asus F50SV-X1 multimedia laptop is scheduled for a US release date of April 2009 and packs some decent specs for $799. Featuring a 16-inch 1366 x 768 resolution screen and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 120M graphics card, the ASUS F50SV-X1 runs a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T6400 processor with 4GB of RAM and 320GB hard drive for storage. It also features integrated WiFi connectivity, DVD burner as well as a webcam. All this good stuff will be backed by Windows Vista Home Premium as an OS. If I wasn’t bound for life to Apple products, this laptop would be very appealing.
