Sanyo SPC-2700: A Poor Man’s Blackberry

In the market for a QWERTY keyboard infused phone but don’t wanna sign your checkbook away? If you hold out until May 10th the Sanyo SCP-2700 can be yours for $30 after a 2-year contract signing and $50 mail-in-rebate from Sprint. Sure, the SCP-2700 is far from luxury, but it ain’t a complete slouch: 1.3MP camera, threaded text messaging, Bluetooth, Sprint Navigation and is available in both Impulsive Pink, with a subtle floral overlay, and Deep Blue, which has a tactile square designer pattern on its back.

Lol, poor man’s Blackberry… well, I’m a 20-year old girl and I can’t wait for the phone to come out! I think I’ll really like it!
I have this phone and love it – though it’s so new that I mobile17.com doesn’t know it exists and the ringers that come with it are a little grating.
Great phone. Browser is good. NAV works great. Can not find USB driver to try and copy my own ringers to it. Still searching…
Hey Russ, if you find this, will you let me know? Windows Vista can’t find it – thinking of asking my engineer friend to have a look too. If I come up with anything, I’ll fill you in.
Anyone know of a ring tone creator that works well on this phone?

It is not that great..trust me i have it..especially if you get it trough sprint!!Dam sprint is crappy!!! Its bluetooh doesnt work, it does not support text messages with ringtones attached, and ulimited text plan sucks!!..it wont let you recieve most pic messages unless you add internet to your plan, although you have unlimited pic messaging!!..seriously i dont recomend this phone you might be very dissapointed!!!
i have this fone theres nothing wrong wit it except i cant listen to music on here or watch vids..but it has everything else that a blackberry gat
