Samsung’s Tiny HD Camcorder, The HMX-R10, Gets Priced & Possibly Slated For Release

Holy small HD camcorder Samsung! Yup, that’s right, this little camcorder, the HMX-R10, which measures 130 x 38 x 58mm (5.1″ x 1.5″ x 2.3″) is the smallest in its class. They’ve also managed to jam a 9MP sensor in for stills photos, 5x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD touchpanel. Samsung even angled the lens at 25 degrees to make it easier to hold and shoot (I’m thinking underhand grip only). Launch date for this wolf in sheep’s clothing is rumored to be April in the UK and summer in the US. Price, which still hasn’t been officially confirmed, is said to be $550.
