Laptops — 16 March 2009

My biggest gripe about any laptop, especially mine (15-inch Macbook Pro) is the battery life. But on the converse I like its horsepower, so if you want improved battery life the payoff is less processing oomph and hence MSI’s WIND U110 ECO laptop. Under the hood is a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom Z530 processor paired with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD3200, which purportedly achieves over 9 hours on a single charge. You’ll also score a 80GB/120GB160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, WiFi b/g, 4-in-1 media card reader, 10-inch 1024×600 LED backlit display and it all weighs less than 2.2lbs.
