Mimio Interactive Turns Any Flat Screen Surface Into A Giant Touchscreen (video)

There aren’t too many educational gadgets that capture my attention, but the Mimio Interactive is definitely a head turner. In short, you attach the device to a almost any flat surface in the classroom (think white or chalk board), load some software on your computer and whamo, you’ve got a gigantic touchscreen like interface for your computer. Course, you’ll need to have a projector to output the computer’s display onto the board, but for just over $500 it’s a pretty compelling way to get your students to pay attention and interact. Check the video after the leap.

Dear Christen,
May I post your link to the mimio website?
Hey Robert,
Yes, please do. Thanks!
Checkout this page where you can download this same application for free, it shows you how to use it and all you need is to buy a wii remote (arround 30 USD), see vdeo on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5s5EvhHy7eQ and download programs on johnnylee.net/projects/wii/ … I have tried it myself and it works perfectly…very easy to set up. .
Enjoy,
C.
