I don’t know how I missed this, but Logitech just shipped their billionth mouse (yes, nine zeros) this last December. It’s quite a milestone for the company and a true testament to their dominance in the market. If you’re so intrigued, Logitech was founded in a farm house in Apple, Switzerland. Their first mouse, the P4 was developed in 1982 and 3 years later the company introduced the first retail version. It took 11 hard years to get to 100 million and 7 more to reach 500 million. Today the company sells 376,000 mice a day or 7.8 million a month. In fact, the mouse I’m using to write this post is made by Logitech and it’s like 7 years old with very few problems (minus the batter hog party).
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
