Garmin may have woken up and smelled the ‘green’ coffee. Their nuvi 1300 GPS sports the usual GPS features – 4.3-inch touchscreen, text to speech, etc – but it also let’s you plan the most fuel efficient trip, something they’re calling ecoRoute. For a an added cost, about $10 or so, city dwellers and tourists can download CityXplorer maps, which provide subway maps, street routes and other public transportation info.
The Garmin nuvi 1300 will hit next quarter for $250.
