Just when I was starting to get comfortable with the idea of everything embodying touchscreen, Denso Corporation comes out with this odd ball product that allows you to control devices by placing two fingers together.  I joke you not.  Called the ‘Yubi-nya’ (that’s ‘ring’ and ‘meow’ in Japanese), it basically sends an electrical current through the wearer until the fingers are placed together at which time a signal is sent to the corresponding device.  The above picture is a little deceiving since it at first glace it might look like you could open or control anything – no, the receiver has to be installed. While we probably won’t ever see this hit the mainstream consumer market, I’m sure it will end up in some sort of automotive technology, like perhaps to open your car door (duh).
