Apple Cell Phones iPhone — 27 March 2009

That’s nice of them. In an apparent move to get more people to buy iPhones, AT&T has waived the usual waiting period for upgrades if you are 14 months or more into your 24 month contract and want to buy an iPhone 3G. This alleged news comes just a week or so from the contract free announcement. This also makes it obvious that they are making this move in order to clear out current inventory in order to make room for the new iPhone this June. I think anybody who is considering an iPhone by now knows that June is the big Apple month so we’ll see if peeps jump on board for this. No word yet on when this will exactly happen if it really does at all.
