Transcend Announces External Solid State Drive, The SSD18M

Transcend is hitting the market with an external solid state drive, the SSD18M.  It’s ultra laptop friendly thanks to its lower power consumption, small size (80x50x12.5mm  and 50g), lack of moving parts and dual interface (USB and eSATA).  The Transcend SSD18M will be available in 3 capacities: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

Price and release date have yet to be announced.
