Well, that settles it.  I’m awarding Samsung the most useless product of 2009.  Okay, so there are like 11 more months to go, but if movie trailers can say it, so can I.  The Lapfit monitors are specifically targeted at Samsung laptop users who require a second monitor at the same height of their laptop, and don’t wanna mess up the aesthetic appeal of their lap desk, something I’m sure most laptop users strive for.  Available in sizes 19-inch and 22-inch (both are 1,360×768 resolution – that must look horrible on a 22-inch), the Lapfit connects and powers (I think) via USB 2.0, sport a 4ms response time and a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

The Samsung Lapfits will hit the Korean market this March and cost $165 and $215 respectively.
