Los Angeles To Recieve 4,000 Acre Solar Panel Farm, 100-Megawatts Of Coal Free Power

Fingers crossed, but LA might soon get its first massive solar power farm that could produce up to 100-megawatts.  Some where in Palmdale there is a 4,000 acre  plot that was originally purchased in the 1970s to become an airport for supersonic planes and facilitate the travel of over 100 million passengers a year.  With travel down and the supersonic jets grounded city officials are proposing that the land be used for renewable solar energy.  Nothing is official yet, but if the FAA determines that the land isn’t needed, we could see the plant’s production begin within 3 years.

    Hello,

I am in the process of working on a flyer for an upcoming event and would surfing the internet for aerial pictures of solar panel installations, I came across your picture that I would like to use. Please let me know if it would be okay with your company to do so.

    Thank you.
