dell-wasabi-pz310

What is it: The Dell Wasabi PZ310 pocket printer is exactly that–an extremely tiny mobile printer designed for printing on the go. It’s inkless since it’s based on Zink’s Inkless technology. So how does it work? Color dye crystals are embedded into the special ZINK paper and released when heated by the printer

Features:

  • Prints instant, borderless, color 2″x3″ photos on ZINK’s peel-and-stick paper
  • Connects to any device with PictBridge over USB or Bluetooth support
  • 12 sheet ZINK paper capacity
  • Available in black, pink, or blue
  • Prints full photos in less than a minute

Price: $99 for a limited time

So I bought one of these Wasabi printers and it’s HORRIBLE. The paper it prints on sounds cool but it is VERY EXPENSIVE and prints poor quality photos slowly. I do not understand this product. you cannot do anything useful with it. It does not work with all bluetooth phones and it was difficult to send things (using BT). The photos I capture on my camera-phone are lousy at best, so printing them is a waste of time and of the $.35. If only this thing did something useful. Too bad…next…

Hey Lorenzo, that is too bad. I’m surprised to hear the quality is so low. Are you going to return it?
