RetroMp3Cassette3

For some people, retro products will never grow old.  If this Retro Cassette MP3 Player makes it to production it will certainly turn some heads.  Featuring a limited display and control scheme, it will let you kinetically charge the battery yourself by means of twisting one of the spools with your finger.  A multi-colored light will indicate the level of charge achieved while the other display located between the spools shows the remaining song time.  The other spool lets you finger forward or backward tracks and there is also a slider on the cassette that’s for play/pause/stop functions.  A pop up USB connection is also part of the design.  Storage capacity is similar to the cassettes of old in that they would be offered in lengths of 45, 60, and 90 songs instead of minutes.  Very cool looking, and out of all the retro products out there that are straight garbage, this one looks like it could take.  Mine would be called Freddy! This concept comes from designers Stefano Pertegato, Massimiliano Rampoldi, Eloisa Tolu, Francesco Schiraldi, and Giovanni Mendini.
