Blockbuster’s Total Access service will now feature video game rentals in addition to the current video lineup. It’ll cost $5/month on top of the $19.99/month for 3 movies plan but you’ll gain access to a huge library of games. The catch is that you can rent only one game at a time. Bummer. But, hey, if the game majorly sucks you can always return it locally and grab another for half off. Nice.
This just might give Blockbuster the advantage from rivals such as Netflix and Gamefly since it’ll be the only service to offer both video and game rentals.
