Apple Twice Rejects South Park App But Farting Apps Step To The Front Of The Line

Soon enough there will be a rating system for iPhone apps and games.  So the browser can be used to go to naughty places but we can’t have a South Park app?  The app would allow users to view streaming clips, read news, download wallpapers, browse episode index, and choose a character likeness as a contact image.  Doesn’t sound too harsh eh?  When iTunes first started out it didn’t sell any music with explicit lyrical content but they do now.  It’s likely that Apple will change its tune soon enough once some sort of general standard is developed.  You’d think at this day and age we wouldn’t see this type of censorship but with a new Apple lawsuit every other week, Apple wants to proceed with caution.
