As most of us should know, it takes Flash programming to bring many of our favorite websites to life. So it’s no surprise to iPhone users, that right now, the iPhone doesn’t support Flash in its Safari browser. That should soon change. Adobe, the creators of Flash, are working hand in hand with Apple to make Flash possible on the iPhone by any means necessary.
Shantanu Narayen, Adobe chief, was quoted in saying that making Flash work for the iPhone is:
“It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating,“ he says. “The ball is in our court. The onus “Burden of Responsibility” is on us to deliver.“
We are hoping that Flash will work with in Safari, as a standalone app for just Flash may not be the way to go. No other information is available at this time, and naysayers will continue to discredit the iPhones lack of power to support Flash, but I have faith in Apple and Adobe. Now I just need a FatHead of Steve Jobs in my office.
