The SoundClip promises to increase the iPhone speaker’s amplitude by about 10dB between the frequencies of 5kHz and 20kHz.  It plugs directly into the 30-pin dock connector and instead of actually amplifying the audio using power it utilizes the magic of a tuned conical deflection chamber to direct the audio toward you as you play games, listen to music or watch a movie.
