amazon's price is not that low, as of today, 1/15/2009, it is 1519 and has been this price for awhile now (and reduced recently to this amount), comparetively taking into account trustworthy companies to buy from i'd choose them, also abe in maine has the lowest price and seems to have good reviews for service (free shipping his was listed at 1489 i believe)- great tv, and with competitive pricing (on this size or 52") i can't imagine most ppl buying another lcd version
