Sony announced the new Playstation 3 (PS3) firmware update, version 2.60. The new update features enhanced multimedia features including

• Photo Gallery application allows you to sort and display photos, slideshows set to music
• Guest access to PlayStation Store allows-non members to browse the latest games, demos, videos, etc
• DivX 3.11 support
