LG Intros XCanvas Bobos PDP TVs With ’1 Million To 1′ Contrast Ratio

Talk about egregious.  LG just introduced two new XCanvas Bobos PDP TVs and practically knocked my socks off with the contrast ratio: 1,000,000:1.  I really don’t have a clue how that would look in person, but one has to assume it would be pretty ballsy.  The sets come in a 42-inch (42PQ60D) and 50-inch (50PQ60D) flavor, detect ambient light to adjust the picture and will arrive in Korea for $1,000 and $1,400 respectively.
