I’m sure it’s an understatement to say that ‘many of you have been waiting for a new and improved (at least refreshed) Window’s Mobile OS’. Well, apparently it will launch Q3 of ’09. But as Gizmodo points out, it’s more realistic to expect it in Q4 since many of the carriers will require customization – you know, the whole brand alignment thing. There’s a video showing off Windows Mobile 6.5, but if I were you, I’d take it with a grain of salt, although some of the UI looks refreshed much of the old is still in there.

It most certainly doesn’t look like those leaked images we posted a few months back.
