There’s no way to confirm this, but according to a survey taker on Quizpoints, Danger is planning to release a new and improved Sidekick, the Sidekick LX 2009 to be exact. Keep in mind that this is pure pontification and is based off the fact that the QuizPoints user was presented with a survey questioning them about a possible device.
So if it is true, what should we expect? In short, the Sidekick XL 2009 will be like many of today’s smartphones. Since Microsoft bought Danger last year you can probably expect complete integration with their software and services, in addition to GPS, 3G connectivity, social networking apps, video recorder, 3.2-inch WQVGA screen, 3.2MP camera, microSD card slot and larger QWERTY keypad.
