  1. Global Warming is a hoax going green is all about money and politics the science behind global warming is false research it but obviously nobody is going to believe me because its been written in our brains that were killing the earth to scare us so believe whatever you want davidiggle out

  2. this is just another expensive thing that replaces your charger. if you dont have an iphone or blackberry then you still have to plug it into a reciever, costs extra, that you set on top or the mat???
wtf is that doing for me?
still have to plug my phone in…and it costs hella money.
    im totally buying this thing.

  3. I bought one of these the other day at best buy and it works just as they say, expect for that fact that you have to buy extra pieces for each of your devices. To charge just my one blackberry curve it cost $140 dollars. It is really nice not having to think about plugging the cord into the phone all the time, but I am still not convinced that it is worth $140 dollars. Also I have a Blackberry world edition as well, which I cant find the batt door for it, so I still have to plug it into the mat no matter what. Same thing i have been doing all a long. I would say that if they would make these cheaper and be able to charge more products without cords, it would be a great product. But don’t but it for just one device, not worth the money.

  4. This looks like another one of those “As seen on tv” pieces of crap. You buy it, then shitcan it a week later.

  5. i was looking at this but i don’t think it’s ready to be in the market. More devices need to be supprted… and by that i don’t mean give me a cord for it. Also i think that they should have made actual batteries that flush with the device. Just my thoughts.

  6. this sounds great, but how durable will the receivers be? (if you are like me, a dropped phone is common place.) Am i going to have to replace receivers often??

  7. my iPhone needs this badly. However, I think they have to make the receiver smaller. But it’s way cooler than the regular charger for my iPhone already :)

  8. This is such a great piece of equipment to have. One at home and one at work will save so much time and effort when my devices run out of power! I can’t wait till they come out in the fall!

  9. Umm – this seems cool, but what are the “receivers” that need to be attached to the device? Are you just replacing the normal charging stand for a receiver?

  10. I can’t wait to get rid of the tangled mess under my desk and be able to charge all my products at once! This is extraordinary :)

  11. Powermat is a great idea! No more mess and no more waking up in the morning realizing I forgot to plug something in. Just lay it on the matt when I come home & all set!

  12. Yes!!! I cannot wait for this to come out!! I NEED this! I have wires coming out of my wires over here..

  13. This is an exciting development! I’m looking forward to getting one and not having so many cords all over the place.

  14. I love the idea of being able to charge multiple things at once. And of course getting rid of all those power cords! Sign me up!

The powermat looks like something everyone will have much like an ipod! Can’t wait to pick one up!

  16. I am a huge gadget geek and I’ve been waiting so long for something like this. With the Powermat, I can power-up my phone, Blackberry, DS, and PSP without the spaghetti mess.

    • It’s not “green,” just yet. It’s still losing energy through the adapter and far more through the indirect charging pad. A charger meant for the device is just losing energy through the adapter.

Then there’s the aspect of leaving this pad charger plugged in 24/7, I unplug my regular adapters and chargers after every use. Even though it’s not charging anything the adapter is still drawing a current.

  17. I can’t wait until the PowerMat comes onto the market and I can experience it for myself. The flexibility and 90% efficiency will make make my life easier and I will no longer have to carry my cell phone, blackberry, iPod and laptop cords everywhere I go.

  18. wow, looks impressive. I could see having one at home and one at work useful because I use my iPhone so much the battery keeps dying and it will save me having to carry the power cable with me all the time.

  19. This is going to untangle my world. I’ve been waiting for something like this, I’m so glad it’s finally here. Fall is going to be like an early Christmas :)

  20. I love this idea……just set it down when you walk in the house and pick it up when you need it…fully charged and ready to go.
