Going green and simplifying my life! This is the best invention. Can’t wait to get one!

It’s not “green,” just yet. It’s still losing energy through the adapter and far more through the indirect charging pad. A charger meant for the device is just losing energy through the adapter.

Then there’s the aspect of leaving this pad charger plugged in 24/7, I unplug my regular adapters and chargers after every use. Even though it’s not charging anything the adapter is still drawing a current.

Umm – this seems cool, but what are the “receivers” that need to be attached to the device? Are you just replacing the normal charging stand for a receiver?

  38. WesPlayer says:

this sounds great, but how durable will the receivers be? (if you are like me, a dropped phone is common place.) Am i going to have to replace receivers often??

  39. bri-guy says:

i was looking at this but i don’t think it’s ready to be in the market. More devices need to be supprted… and by that i don’t mean give me a cord for it. Also i think that they should have made actual batteries that flush with the device. Just my thoughts.

  40. Anonymous says:

This looks like another one of those “As seen on tv” pieces of crap. You buy it, then shitcan it a week later.

  41. Russell says:

I bought one of these the other day at best buy and it works just as they say, expect for that fact that you have to buy extra pieces for each of your devices. To charge just my one blackberry curve it cost $140 dollars. It is really nice not having to think about plugging the cord into the phone all the time, but I am still not convinced that it is worth $140 dollars. Also I have a Blackberry world edition as well, which I cant find the batt door for it, so I still have to plug it into the mat no matter what. Same thing i have been doing all a long. I would say that if they would make these cheaper and be able to charge more products without cords, it would be a great product. But don’t but it for just one device, not worth the money.

  42. jd says:

this is just another expensive thing that replaces your charger. if you dont have an iphone or blackberry then you still have to plug it into a reciever, costs extra, that you set on top or the mat???
wtf is that doing for me?
still have to plug my phone in…and it costs hella money.
    im totally buying this thing.
