Apple Officially Unveils 17-inch Macbook Pro With Unibody

As rumored, Apple has officially unveiled the new 17-inch Macbook Pro with the unibody structure. Specs are similar to its smaller brother, the 15-inch, but this one apparently comes with a $50 matte screen option, and as rumored a non-removable battery, which lasts for up to 8 hours and gets up to 1000 charges. Apple is claiming that it’s the lightest and thinnest 17-inch laptop and at just 6.6lbs I’d have to agree.
The 17-inch Macbook Pro will ship in 3-4 weeks and starts at $2,800.
