Toshiba Launches First 512GB SSD With 2.5-inch Form Factor

Toshiba launched the world’s first 2.5-inch 512GB SSD drive today.  They also kicked out 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB drives and they’re all based on a 43 nanometer Multi-Level Cell NAND.  Don’t expect them until Q2 or Q3 of 2009, but Tosh will be showing them off at CES 2009.
