Engineering students at San Jose State University built a rickshaw like car -they’re calling it a ‘human powered hybrid vehicle’ – that can be powered by plugging it in, solar power or, drum roll, pedal power. It runs on a small electric motor, which can achieve a top speed of 35 mph and 60 mile range. They plan to sell the eco friendly vehicle in China, India, etc for about $4,000.
Personally, I just like the Back To The Future read out.
