Philips unveiled a new touchscreen remote control today called the Prestigo SRT9320. Although it lacks RF control, it’s a nice mix of touchscreen (2.8-inches) and hard buttons. The remote’s footprint appears to be small enough for one handed operation and it can control up to 20 devices. You can’t program the remote via the PC, unlike some other higher end remotes, but it includes a USB port for future software updates.
The Philips Prestigo SRT9320 remote will hit the open market Q1 of 2009 for $249.
