Philips Announces 3 New MP3 Players: LUXE, RAGA and Spark

We already knew Philips was skipping CES this year so it’s no surprise that they’ve unleashed more products to beat the rush.  Today they announced the RAGA, the Spark and the LUXE.  The LUXE is actually old news, while the RAGA adds a stock MP3 player with a 27 hour battery life, 2GB or 4GB capacities, and costs $35 and $45 respectively.  The Spark brings more to the table with a 1.5-inch OLED screen and presumably similar capacities as the RAGA but with a $50 and $60 cost.  The LUXE, which was announced back in October is a 2GB or 4GB MP3 player that pairs with your phone via Bluetooth and allows calls to be answered without switching to your handset.  Both the LUXE and Spark will work with Rhapsody and include Philips ‘Full Sound’ EQ, whatever that is.  The Spark and RAGA are available now, while the LUXE will hit stores shelves this coming January.
